Pafuri River Camp is managed by Mike and Lyneve, who will ensure your stay is both comfortable and unforgettable. This is prevalent when one is first welcomed at reception and then bid farewell on departure.
Our Relief Manager Kos Coronaios, is an astronomer and night sky enthusiast. Kos has an inherent love of nature, the bush and people. Should he be in camp during your stay be sure to have a chat about the stars, planets and galaxies. For a more in depth star gazing evening book a "Night Sky Safari' . When in camp Kos is also available for guided river walks.
The rooms stewards, maintenance and camp staff, some of whom have been at Pafuri River Camp since its inception, are part of the Pafuri River Camp family, ensuring the smooth running of the camp in all aspects. Our Venda Staff reside in Mavhulani, located on the land of the community of Bende Mutale. All staff know and respect that Tourism is one of the main contributors to the economy in the region and so you can be sure of a pleasant welcome and friendly service.
Our Safari Chef, Robert has extensive experience and excellent culinary skills, conjuring up some amazing and delicious meals in the bush.
